DESTINATION OVERVIEW

Rwanda

Rwanda is being talked about a lot and for the right reasons. The country has made a significant investment in the tourism sector in recent years and has developed its hotel fleet so that it meets international standards. Kigali, the Rwandan capital, is one of the safest, warmest and cleanest cities in Africa. The Rwandan fauna is not to be ignored: Akagera National Park, the most important animal reserve in Rwanda is home to around twenty species such as elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions and black rhinos. The Volcanoes National Park is home to famous mountain gorillas: meeting a gorilla is a unique experience. For swimming, Lake Kivu offers an exceptional tourist setting in East Africa with its three very popular seaside resorts.
