OUR BUCKET LIST:
Tortoise of Aldabra
Besides the Galapagos, the Seychelles is the only other place on Earth where you can admire giant tortoises in the wild. Local land turtles belong to an endemic species that can reach 1.2 meters and 250 kilos, and whose life expectancy exceeds 150 years. Seychelles thus has the largest population of giant tortoises in the world, with more than 150,000 individuals living mainly on the small atoll of Aldabra.
